In the evening, a detailed briefing is conducted explaining the entire 15-day route, including long travel segments, desert experiences and the Mumbai extension. This preparation helps in setting expectations and ensuring a smooth flow throughout the journey. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2

Delhi – Old Delhi and New Delhi Exploration

The day begins with a visit to Old Delhi, starting at Jama Masjid where you enter the courtyard and observe the scale and structure while your guide explains its historical relevance. From here, a cycle rickshaw ride takes you through Chandni Chowk, moving through narrow streets filled with shops, vendors and continuous activity. The route is carefully selected to provide an authentic experience while maintaining comfort and safety.

After exiting Old Delhi, you pass the Red Fort and continue towards Raj Ghat. As you move into New Delhi, the environment changes significantly, with wider roads, green spaces and planned government districts. The drive past India Gate and administrative buildings offers a contrast to the older part of the city.

In the afternoon, visits to Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar are arranged. Both sites are explored in detail, with explanations focusing on architectural design and historical importance. The day concludes with a return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra – Drive and Mughal Introduction

After breakfast, you depart for Agra via the expressway. The journey is smooth and allows for a steady travel pace, with planned stops ensuring comfort throughout the drive. The transition from Delhi’s urban environment into open stretches of highway is gradual and uninterrupted.

On arrival in Agra, check-in is completed followed by time to rest. The afternoon visit begins with Itimad-ud-Daulah, where intricate marble inlay work is observed closely. The guide explains how this structure represents an early stage of Mughal architectural refinement.

Later, you proceed to Mehtab Bagh, located across the river. From here, the Taj Mahal is viewed in a quieter setting, allowing a clear understanding of its symmetry and proportions without the presence of heavy crowds. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 4

Taj Mahal Sunrise and Transfer to Jaipur

The day begins early with departure for the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Entry is timed to ensure a more comfortable experience with fewer visitors. Inside, the guide explains structural details, design elements and historical background while allowing sufficient time for observation.

After returning to the hotel for breakfast, you check out and proceed to Agra Fort. The visit includes courtyards, audience halls and strategic viewpoints that connect to Mughal rule and administration. The pace is steady to allow a proper understanding of the site.

The journey to Jaipur begins with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri. After exploring the site, you continue to Jaipur and complete check-in at the hotel. The evening remains relaxed after the travel day. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Returning to the city, you visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar. A stop at Hawa Mahal allows for exterior viewing and photographs. Each site is explored in a structured manner rather than rushed visits.

In the afternoon, you explore Jaipur’s markets where textiles, jewellery and handicrafts are displayed. The visit is guided to ensure clarity and avoid confusion. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 6

Jaipur to Pushkar – Cultural Transition

After breakfast, you depart for Pushkar. The drive takes approximately three hours, moving away from the busy city environment into quieter surroundings.

In the afternoon, you visit Pushkar Lake and surrounding temple areas. The guide explains the significance of the town and its role in religious travel. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 7

Pushkar to Jodhpur – Entry into Marwar Region

After breakfast, you begin the journey to Jodhpur. The drive takes approximately five hours and passes through rural landscapes and small settlements.

On arrival, check-in is completed at the hotel followed by time to rest. The city’s blue houses and elevated fort create a strong visual contrast compared to previous destinations.

In the evening, you may explore nearby areas or remain within the hotel environment. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 8

Jodhpur – Fort and Blue City Exploration

The day begins with a visit to Mehrangarh Fort. You explore its internal sections, museum galleries and viewpoints while the guide explains its historical and architectural significance.

After the fort visit, you move into the old city, where narrow lanes and blue-painted houses create a dense and unique layout. This provides a completely different experience compared to Jaipur.

In the afternoon, you visit Jaswant Thada and local markets. The pace is balanced to allow both exploration and rest. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 9

Jodhpur to Jaisalmer – Transition into Desert Landscape

After breakfast, you depart from Jodhpur towards Jaisalmer by private vehicle. The journey takes approximately five hours and gradually shifts from the rocky terrain of Marwar into the more open and sandy stretches of the Thar Desert. Along the route, short stops are planned for refreshments and comfort, ensuring that the drive remains smooth and unhurried despite the distance.

As you approach Jaisalmer, the landscape begins to change noticeably, with sandstone structures blending into the surroundings. On arrival, check-in is completed at the hotel, where you are given time to rest and adjust after the drive. The property environment is calm, allowing you to transition comfortably into the desert region.

In the evening, a short orientation walk or drive can be arranged near the town area, introducing you to the layout of Jaisalmer. The guide explains how the city developed as a trading centre along ancient routes. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 10

Jaisalmer – Fort Living City and Local Exploration

The day begins with a visit to Jaisalmer Fort, one of the few forts in the world that still functions as a living settlement. You walk through narrow lanes lined with houses, shops and temples, while the guide explains the fort’s history and its role in regional trade. The structure’s layout and use of local sandstone are observed closely during the exploration.

After the fort visit, you continue to nearby Jain temples and residential sections, gaining a deeper understanding of how communities still live within the fort walls. The experience is more interactive compared to other forts, as daily life continues within the same space.

In the afternoon, you explore local markets where handicrafts, textiles and traditional items are displayed. The pace is kept relaxed to allow proper observation and interaction. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 11

A camel ride is arranged during the late afternoon, allowing you to move across the dunes at a steady pace. The experience is guided to ensure comfort while also giving you time to observe the changing light and landscape. Stops are made at suitable points to rest and take in the surroundings.

As evening approaches, you return to the desert camp where a cultural program is organised. This includes traditional music and performances presented in an open setting. Dinner is served at the camp, followed by time to relax under the open sky. Overnight stay in desert camp.

Day 12

Jaisalmer to Udaipur – Long Scenic Transfer with Gradual Landscape Change

After breakfast, you begin the journey from Jaisalmer to Udaipur. The transition from desert terrain to greener regions happens gradually, offering a visible change in geography throughout the route.

The journey is paced to avoid fatigue, with breaks arranged at suitable intervals. The road conditions allow a steady drive, and the change in surroundings keeps the journey engaging rather than repetitive.

Day 14
